CMR Nashville On Your Mobile Phone
VirtualRadio brings CMR Nashville radio to your phone.
VirtualRadio connects to the Internet through your mobile phone operator's network and links to more than 800 radio stations from all over the world.
If you have a modern phone, you can directly connect to the Internet by using Wi-fi (WLAN or hotspots) and you can hear radio without being charged by your mobile phone operator.
Click and Play!
VirtualRadio is based on one single basic functionality: playing a given set of Internet radio channels. Just start up the player and it immediately starts playing audio. There is no need to define play lists or find and type in URLs.
All you have to do is select from a given set of channels: Click and play! It’s easy!
System Requirements - Supported Phone Types
VirtualRadio at the moment runs only on mobile phones with Symbian Operating System. VirtualRadio runs on Nokia S60 phones, SonyEricsson UIQ, Motorola, Siemens SX1, BenQ, Arima and Sendo X. For more details, please click here.
Connection to the Internet through your operator's network
If you are not using Wi-fi (or have an older phone which does not support Wi-fi), you will need to have a working Internet connection from your mobile phone to your mobile phone operator's system. Make sure that have defined the Access point correctly. Rather use an "Internet" than a "WAP" access point. If in doubt ask your operator!
VirtualRadio is a typical 3G application, but it can also be used on GPRS and EDGE networks.
WARNING!
Listening to VirtualRadio through your operator's network will create a lot of download traffic! If you do not have a "flat rate" payment plan, the unlimited download of sound can become very expensive very quickly! If in doubt, ask your operator!
If you are using modern phones' Wi-fi capabilities you can connect directly to the Internet (WLAN) and can avoid all operator's costs.
